Shory Photography!

My name is Shelby and I am the director of Shory Photography. Since being young, I always dreamed of capturing happiness and fun through pictures. When my amazing husband bought me a very nice camera for Valentines day one year, I decided to make my dream true. I started with basic landscape shots of nature and animals. I than started doing portrait shots. I quickly found it was my calling and what I loved to do. I started doing sibling shots, child shots, and moved on to senior shots, maternity, and newborns. Of coarse, at the time, most of my "models" were family and friends willing to get pictures of them self taken.  After many compliments on my photography, and repherals of every one around, I pushed my self to where I am today, doing something I absolutely love. I found it was something I had a good talent for, and decided to pursue my career. I learned how to edit my pictures using GIMP, and found more ways to enhance and create new things in my pictures. Instead of owning a studio, I like to use what I have around to create a great environment for a shoot. I am a location photographer, which is a photographer who uses the outside nature, and at home shots to create the more natural and fun look I love.  I love what I am doing and plan on doing it for the rest of my life. My husband is a website builder and is talented at what he does. I am happy to have him in my life with his full support. We are expecting our first baby, a baby boy, on May 29, 2010. My life has gone so wonderful and I am happy with where I am. I look forward to all the shoots I will be doing in my near future, and hope one day will be able to capture your emotions and character in a photo as well!
